The Province of Yorkshire West Riding

With 188 Lodges and over 5000 freemasons in the North the Province of Yorkshire West Riding spans from Ripon in the North, Goole in the East, Sheffield in the South and Bentham in the West.

All local UK lodges are amalgamated in 48 Provinces within England, Wales, the Channel Islands and Isle of Man and our central body is the United Grand Lodge of England, based in London.

The geography of Provinces is roughly based on the old county boundaries and each Province is presided over by a Provincial Grand Master, who is assisted by various Provincial officers.
